HAPPY BIRTHDAY YINGZHI!


very sadly, i couldn't find any photos with just the 2 of us. so this photo is actually cropped :) thankyou for bringing so much laughter into my life ;D

next thursday there's gonna be the syf showcase rehearsal, where we're going to play our syf pieces. quite truthfully, i'm dreading it. it's not that i'm not proud of our syf songs, but the syf experience gave me painful memories and i don't wanna dwell in the past anymore. i remember crying for days afterwards, and friends who tried to comfort me. oh shit screw the school. it's been almost 3 months since syf and if they expect us to play at our peak, they can just kiss our ass.

i cannot deny that one of my greatest regret as a senior was not giving the band their gold medal. i think there's this silent apology in me that i'll never be able to say.

and handover is next friday donutz. when i was in sec1 i was clueless about handover and the committee positions. in sec2 i was not in the committee. in sec3 i became the gic and asl. and now i'm in sec4 already :(

anyway i think that committee positions arent a life and death kind of issue. we need people to lead and we need people to follow. we can't do w/o either. it's something i learnt as a senior.
